I have a lot of people that ask “how did you get that shot”… there is no answer to that, most great photos come when you least expect it. Right place right time? Yeah maybe, but you have to find that place, you have to make time, you have to spend the time… some days going out to photograph, just plain ol SUCK, but it’s going out, exploring… you give time to what your passionate about and it will be worth it. Always is. Don’t feel like going out? Do it. Feel like there’s nothing to photograph? There always is. It’s not rare enough? Make the photo a “one in a million” find those angles. I look back at my photos and know I will never be able to recreate some of those moments, and some of the great ones are of very “simple” species and moments. That’s what makes great photography
